Amanda Pollifrone, NCSP, LAMFT
Amanda earned a Bachelor’s degree from Monmouth University in Psychology. She then obtained a Master’s degree and Professional Diploma in School Psychology at Kean University. Amanda worked as a child study team member and school psychologist for 7 years. During this time, she developed a passion for relational healing and educator wellness, in addition to her love of children and adolescents. Amanda went back to school at Northcentral University to complete additional coursework in Marriage and Family Therapy and obtained her license as a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in New Jersey; license number is: 37FA00034300.
Amanda currently works in a school setting, specifically providing emotionally supportive and therapeutic interventions to students who experienced trauma. Amanda is passionate about this work across the lifespan and its impact on family systems and relationships. She seeks to help others develop self-understanding, compassion, and acceptance within their lives.
Amanda enjoys weekend trips and dog-friendly activities with her husband and pup. She also loves to spend time with her family and friends, try new restaurants, go to the beach in the summer and ski in the winter.
